A Fun Busy Weekend
What a fun weekend on Friday night we went to an indoor pro lacrosse game. The boys started playing lacrosse this past spring, so it was fun to see the "pro's" play. The next day we spent a warm fall day at the zoo, I have never seen the animals so active, it was really fun. The sheep just kept banging his head on the shed, it was really loud.

I'm TIRED
I think I jinksed ( sorry phonetic spelling) my self with that last post, Brig is up at night again! But the weather has cooled off, maybe he is cold. Or maybe it is because he slept with Shalise while I was gone what do you think? So Jana read this post and let me know I was wrong...Shalise only slept with him 1 night...Jana slept with him 2 nights. Like that makes any difference at all!!!

I slept 5 nights in a row
I think that I haven't slept 5 night all the way through in over 2 years, I loved it! Of course 3 of those nights Jeff and I were out of town and Brig stayed with his big sisters. I taught a STABLE class in Sun Valley for the hospital on Thursday night and Friday, then Jeff and I spent the weekend.
It was nice to
1. sleep in (till 8 am)
2. not cut anyone else's food
3. or pick it up off the floor
4. go to an adult movie
5. walk around town without pushing a stroller or carrying a child
6. I didnt do dishes, cook, wash clothes or stop any arguements
Ahh, heaven. I had a wonderful time, but strangely enough I missed hearing the word Mom and mommy. Jana, Meisha, Shalise, Tyson, Gray and Ky did a great job managing themselves and Brig. I'm glad to be home with dishes that need to be done and laundry and what I am going to make for breakfast.

School has started
School has started and so has the busyness of fall. Gray is playing football on the JV team and Ky is playing on the freshman team so... lots of football games. The boys are always fun to watch, but I dont get as much watching done as I do chasing of a 2 year old. Brig loves the track around the feild he is always trying to get down on to it. After the first game I let him down to the field, he stopped on the track and go down in a runners take off position and said ready.. set.. go.. and ran down the track for about 100 meters, then turned around and got in the ready position and said ready.. set.. go.. and ran again. He did that for 20 minutes, Ky finally came and found us, he was done with his team meeting and changing in the locker room and tired of waiting for us. I remember the first game I went to without little children and wondered what to do with myself... Now... please just let me watch this play...

Brig's somersault
Brig has learned to do a somersault and jump. Shalise showed he once and he just keep trying. Of course all the encouragement from everyone didn't hurt. He loved the olympics the swimming, running and all the balls. So now everything is ready-set-go, and he yells run fast, run fast. I forget how much they learn when they are two and how opinionated they can be.

Just have been playing and wanted to post but I don't really have anything new. Gray and Ky started school this week they are both playing football. Shalise started at BSU this week, she is getting collage figured out. So sometimes it is quieter around here during the day but we make up for it in the afternoon.

Our trip to Canada
In July we took a trip to Canada, we drove in the pickup and had a full bed and full cab. But we survived. At the Canadian border the kids had to give up their phones (expensive time) so it was great to have their attention instead of them buried in the phone. We went to the Calgary Stampede and then to Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise. We even walked on a glacier. After Jeff and the kids went mountain biking, the kids went screaming biking down a steep hill, they has us clock how fast they were going, about 30-35 mph. When we got to the bottom of the hill and where loading the bikes we realized that Shalise's bike was missing the tightening bolt that connects the tire to the frame...sure a good thing she didn't crash!

Family reunion 2008
We went camping as a family (plus some boyfriends) everyone was able to be there except April, Ben and Linkin, Kim, McKenzie and Elli. We camped, had good food, hiked, made homemade ice cream and had a egg protection fort. It was lots of fun and good to be together....hopefully next year we can all be together. Enjoy the pictures!

In the Beginning
I guess this will be my half-year New Years Resolution.
I found myself feeling badly for not communicating with my family better and while I was at it had a pity party for not getting to create something-or do something I wanted to do. So while crying and looking at Brenna's blog I decided to take on blogging.
Hopefully I will be able to both create and communicate at the same time.
I love you all and want to share our lives with you.

Catch up
I guess in the beginning I should update everyone on what the family is doing:
Jeff and I remain busy working and caring for children. Jeff is self employed as a Business Coach/Motivational Speaker. I work in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit as a Nurse Practitioner. We enjoy camping and traveling and spending time together.
David and Kim where married last summer and welcomed a beautiful baby girl to there family the end of May. They live in Boise. Kaitlyn is 8 and will be starting 3rd grade. She is an active, beautiful girl. Carson is 5 and will be beginning kindergarten he is thoughtful and happy. MacKenzie is 5 full of energy and excited to start kindergarten.
Brenna, Jeff, Jackson (3) and James (1) live in Austin Tx which is really, really too far away. They are good to spend their vacations in Idaho, but again sharing with other grandma's is hard. Brenna has a blog for her family and it can be found at http://jdbboys.blogspot.com/
Tyson is living here in Boise, finishing his degree in Business at BSU.
Jana is here in Boise also, she graduated in Dec from BYU-I. She is working with developmentally delayed people and is looking in to humanitarian trips and different Masters programs. She is trying to stay busy while she is waiting for her missionary (he just left this month, it might be a long 2 years).
